Dándose a conocer con "Meridian", Steve Mcniven, ha tenido una importante carrera dentro de Marvel Comics, Pasando desde Avengers, Ultimate Secret e incluso Fantastic Four, hasta ser el dibujante de la serie central de CIVIL WAR. Actualmente, muchos podréis disfrutar de sus lápices en la miniserie WOLVERINE: OLD MAN LOGAN, una muy interesante historia sobre un posible futuro donde los villanos se habían unido y derrotado a casi todos los héroes de la tierra, adueñándose de los Estados Unidos.
En particular me gusta la expresividad que les da a sus personajes, el movimiento, las poses, da un estilo muy particular, aunque plástico a sus personajes. No se porque, cuando veo sus personajes pienso en los muñequitos de Marvel, jeje. También me gusta el pelo, le da mucho movimiento y eso me gusta en un dibujo. En esta ocasión os dejo con una portada de "Marvel Knighs: 4", durante su etapa en esta serie, donde podemos ver una imagen con mucha fuerza de Sue Richards, me gusta en especial tanto la pose de ella, como el detalle de como las balas van aplastándose contra el muro de fuerza invisible, una imagen genial!.
First appearence on pages of "Meridian", Steve Mcniven, has walk an important carrier in Marvel Comics, from Avengers, Ultimate Secret to Fantastic Four, till become the regular artist of the main CIVIL WAR event. And actually you can ejoy his pencils in the pages of "WOLVERINE: OLD MAN LOGAN", a very interesting story about a possible future, where villains joined and defeated almost every hero on earth, ruling the States.
What I enjoy the most is his great expressions in the characters, the movement gave his style a very particular look, a little bit plastic. I dunno Why, but I cant avoid thinking on Marvel figures when I see his work. I enjoy also the way he draws the hair, with that movement, I really like that in a draw. This time, I´ll show you a "Marvel Knights: 4" cover, where we can enjoy a very strong cover with Sue Richards, I really like the position of the Invissible woman, as much as the way he draws the effect on the bullets, smashing againt the invissible force field wall, a great 10!.
No he leido Marvel Knight 4 Fantasticos pero sí Civil War y El viejo Logan. Expectacular. Es jodidamente realista y detallista este dibujante, no me extraña que Old Man Logan se retrasara en eeuu.
ResponderEliminarY el color ¿lo hace él? Por que en las dos series que he comentado parece el mismo tipo de dibujo y resalta aún más el realismo, le queda genial.
Por cierto, esa Susan está un poco pagiza! xD ¿Para cuando los Fantastic Bear?
Old Man Logan molaba mucho, estoy deseando ver el final en el especial. Lo del color no lo se, pero siempre es el mismo tio al menos, y mola bastante.
