Bienvenidos a la isla de Henders, le garantizamos una cálida bienvenida llena de emociones, aventuras, criaturas exóticas, flora salvaje y si, grandes probabilidades de muerte.Recientemente he terminado de leer este curioso libro a caballo entre “Jurassic Park” y “Avatar”, pero con un lamentable tono Disney al final. La verdad no me ha gustado, reconozco que al principio me pareció interesante. “Un equipo de científicos llega a una desconocida isla.
Cuya flora y fauna es una variante que ha evolucionado durante millones de años por su propia cuenta”. Como consecuencias unos bichos con muy mala leche, que harán todo lo posible por dejarte en los huesos, literalmente. Un principio interesante, pero que luego te bombardea con discusiones filosofales sobre la evolución y la mano del hombre, quizás, demasiado técnicas, lo que ralentiza la acción y aburre. Además; Y CUIDADO QUE AHÍ VA EL SPOILER! La cosa va muy salvaje, hasta que aparece otra raza, aún mas sorprendente que las anteriores, y entonces el libro adopta un tono super happy Disney que para mi gusto, se lo carga todo… no me ha gustado, la verdad, ha sido un final con prisas y decepcionante; pero si os gusto “Parque Jurásico”, si os gustan los paisajes raros tipo “Avatar” y os gusta la parte de “King Kong”, cuando caen en el acantilado y son atacados por bichos gigantes… este es vuestro libro, sino… “pasa por parla”…

I end recently the book “Henders”, a mix between “Jurassic Park” and “Avatar”, with a lame Disney touch. I don’t really like this one; the start was great, but... not the end.
“A scientific investigation team arrives to a mysterious island. Which nature is a weird evolution, a evolution developed apart of any other in the world since the very beginning of the life itself” what else? Well, you will have a lot of mad species, wild killer animals, which are going to make all what it possible to kill you and devour you. It could be a good thing for a book, but in the middle of that the action is stopped by large evolution and mankind discussion very technical and very boring for the reader. And the most important, SPOILER AHEAD! At the very end, the book take a very Disney path where all is lovely and for all ages… and no, this is what disappoint me more… so If you love “Jurassic Park”, if you like weird nature like “avatar” and if you enjoy the part in “King Kong” where they fall to that cliff and face a lot of creatures in there… this is your book, if not… “neeext!!”And talking about creatures, today in DAILY SKETCH! DESPERO!
