Sin duda, mi ultimo y de los mas interesantes hallazgos, en el panorama del comic, al menos para mi últimamente, damas y caballeros… el arte de Sean Galloway!.
No recuerdo ni como di a parar con su blog, pero no puedo parar de devorar cada nueva ilustración que aparece en el blog, ese estilo me gusta demasiado, es tan sencillo y a la vez, tan particular, es genial, solo se me ocurre esa expresión COOL.
A pesar de que a veces, no hay piernas, o no hay detalladas expresiones faciales, o un sinfín de capas para conseguir ese efecto tan real de la piel que se ve hasta las venas del cuerpo, sus ilustraciones son más dinámicas que las de mucha gente. Y debo decir que ha sido toda una fuente de inspiración.
La verdad, no se me ocurre como definir mejor el estilo de este dibujante, que con una de sus ilustraciones, fijaos que en ella, a parte de definir perfectamente a los personajes con un par de líneas simples. Lookhed, apenas es mas que un circulo con alas y una cola, en serio, Sean Galloway, Genial.
With no doubt, the last and one of the more fascinating artist I have ever found in the comic draw universe, at least lately… Ladies and Gentleman… the Art of Sean Galloway!
I can´t remember how did I get to his Blog, but till then, I can´t stop devouring their illustrations, I really love his style, so simple but at the same time, so particular, so great, just a Word to describe it: COOL.
Even when sometimes, there are no legs, or not detaily facial expressions, or a neverending number of canvas to get this so real effect in the skin color till you can see the veins, even with that, his illustrations are more dinamic than so many others work. And i have to say that is a real inspiration for me.
To be honest, I think there is nor a better way to explain his style, than with one of his illustrations. Look at this, with a bunch of simples lines he get the esence of the characters, Lookhed, is just a circle with wing and a tail, seriously people, Sean Galloway, Cool.
De este hombre solo he visto su trabajo en la serie "Spectacular Spiderman" (la de animación) pero me ha encantado y este dibujo tambien (ainss mi Ororo en sus primeros tiempos :D).
