Mucho antes de que un "Reino Oscuro" se extendiese por todo el universo Marvel, La idea de Villanos haciéndose pasar por héroes, ya había existido. Cuando la criatura Onslaught, mató, (o eso pensaban) a la mayoría de héroes del planeta, otros héroes tuvieron que recoger el testigo, fue el nacimiento, de los ¡THUNDERBOLTS! Escrito por Kurt Busiek y Dibujado por el gran Mark Bagley (a quien hasta hace poco disfrutabamos en Ultimate Spiderman). Por aquel entonces el grupo lo formaban: Citizen V, The Thinker, Songbird (adoro este personaje), Match1, Atlas, Moonstone, y finalmente el grupo se completaba con una joven Jolt, que quería emular a los nuevos mas grandes héroes de la tierra.
Pero e aquí. que Thunderbolts no eran unos héroes a la usanza, eran en realidad, El Barón Zemo y los Amos del Mal, disfrazados como héroes, para así hacerse con los códigos de seguridad nacional, que solo era accesible para los héroes de verdad (por ejemplo Los Vengadores o Los 4 Fantásticos).
Las mejores historias de esta colección, son sin duda los primeros números. Porque lo que mas me gustaba de esta historia, era que durante el inicio, los villanos tenían muy claro su papel, pero algo sucedió al margen de la voluntad de Zemo, a algunos de los Thunderbolts, empezaban a disfrutar realmente de su nuevo papel, eran queridos, admirados, eran héroes.
Temiendo una rebelión, Zemo, desvelaba el secreto en publico, obligando a los héroes a huir, esconderse y a convertirse de héroes en villanos nuevamente. Y ahora llegaba la gran pregunta, ¿Deberían volver a ser lo que eran o querrían demostrar al mundo que habían cambiado? Que le voy a hacer, soy un romántico, y me encantan las historias de redención...

Si nunca los habéis leído, empezad con los primeros, y si los leisteis hace tiempo, ¡volved a hacerlo,! porque los actuales episodios empiezan a recobrar algo de sentido, pero los primeros son sin duda los mejores.
Long ago before a “Dark Reign” extend his hands over the Marvel Universe, the idea of Villains acting like heroes, was already used. When the monster Onslaught, Kills (or so...) most of the heroes of the planet, other heroe teams would have to get the mantle, and the ¡THUNDERBOLTS! were born, writen by Kurt Busiek and pencils of Mark Bagley (who we could enjoy in Ultimate Spiderman pages). The first conception of this tema were: Citizen V, The Thinker, Songbird (looove this character), Match1, Atlas, Moonstone, y finally, the team formation was completed by a young Jolt, who wanted to emulate the new Earth Mightiest Heroes!.
But, the Thunderbolts were not the typical heroes team, because, the real is that they were Zemo and the Masters of Evil, dressed as heroes, trying to get the codes of national security which only the real heroes have access ( like the Avengers or the Fantastic Four).
The best stories of this volume, are of course, the first one. Because what I enjoy the most in this comic book, was that, at the real begginning, they knew what they were, they were the villains. But something happened beyond Zemo´s will...because some of the Thunderbolts, started to enjoy too much his new rol, they were loved, admired, they were real heroes.
Fearing a rebelion on board, Zemo, make public their real true identity, making the new heroes appears like villains again. And at this point, the question was on the table, Should they be back on their old lives as villains or Will they try to proof that they where heroes now? ah, what I am gonna do, I am a romantic, and love the redemption stories...
So, if you have never read this volumen, start with the first ones, and if you read them time ago, do it again!, because the actual are starting to get some old sense, but the fist one, are, no doubt, the best ones!
